Clear Path College Counseling

The college search and application process doesn’t have to be painful.  With careful guidance and the right encouraging words along the way, students and their families can experience the journey as a series of clear steps, not as a terrifying shot in the dark.

At Clear Path, I work exclusively with a small group of families to ensure that students get maximum attention on their college list creation, essay writing, interviewing techniques, and communication with college admission officers.  Everything I do is rooted in the core value of honesty—the most important quality of any college application.  I give feedback on student essays, but I never write a word of them.  I am honest with students and their parents about creating college lists that, while optimistic, are also realistic.  And I never say, “I will get you into X college” because it simply isn’t true.  The students’ work, talents, and, occasionally, special circumstances, determine the application outcome.
